Bosch classixx dishwasher where is the float valve
If you open your dishwasher to find a pool of water inside, locate the large-object trap in the center bottom of the dishwasher. Remove the bottom tray to access the large-object trap. Turn the top of the large-object trap counterclockwise one-quarter turn and lift it out. Thoroughly clean its mesh filter. Remove any large objects such as toothpicks, bones, broken glass or food debris from the filter area. Clean the large mesh screen that surrounds the large-object trap before reinstalling everything in reverse of removal.
Close the door to see if the dishwasher drains. If it does, you are free to start the next cycle. Inside the bottom front of the dishwasher behind the kick panel, there is a water inlet valve that operates via electricity.
Remove the Bosch power cord from the outlet or shut off power to the unit at the circuit breaker. Remove the kick panel by unscrewing the two screws on either side. You will also need to pull the machine out from under the counter, so shut off the water before you disconnect the water and drain lines. Remove the drain line.
Start by loosening the clamp. Then disconnect the two hoses. Disconnect the water line from the local water shut-off switch.
Open the door. Remove the screws that fasten the dishwasher to the underside of the counter. Carefully wiggle the machine slightly away from the counter using the door. As soon as you can get a grip on the sides of the machine frame themselves, close the door and grab the machine sides to pull it fully out.
On the left side of the machine, the float switch will be near the bottom of the machine near associated wiring. Take a picture of the wiring for later reassembly and then unplug the wire harness connected to the float switch.
However, there is no water now going into the dishwasher. It runs - just no water goes in. Motor just runs and runs. We have checked the water line - it is open and running. Checked the hose under the dishwasher which also appears to be receiving water.
From reading the other threads - I believe the problem is my float switch is stuck in the UP position. Does this sound correct? Tried going in through the bottom, and through the front panel on bottom of front. Not sure what looking for or how to get to it. Any suggestions? Click to expand A possability yes Is this a job for your average person The repair person just left and I've learned I could've done this job. What I needed to do was remove the front of the dishwasher door, and the black panel on the bottom front.
Then, I needed to remove all of the water inside the very, very bottom of the dishwasher. I had removed all the water inside the cup in the bottom of the dishwasher where the filter is located and that was all the water I needed to remove to get it to reset. Once the repair person vacuamed out all the water - closed the door and it immediately began to work properly.

I have a Bosch dishwasher model no. After checking for a clear drain tube and finding no problem. I removed the left side panel and found that the red float was not rising in the tube. If I pull up the trigger device to engage the pump switch the machine drains. What causes the float to stay down and what is required to free it? Thanks for any help.
